Dear Fifth Grade Families,
My name is Brooke Felty and I am so excited to be teaching 5th grade for my 4th year at Saint Charles Borromeo Academy, and I truly feel God guided me to this wonderful school. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a B.A. in Psychology. Afterwards, I continued my studies at Lewis University outside of Chicago, IL and received my M.A. in Elementary Education. I worked for two long term teaching positions in both 3rd and 5th grade before relocating for a job opportunity at an elementary school outside of New Orleans, LA. There I worked as the K-5th grade Behavior Interventionist for two years and realized how much I missed working in the classroom. My husband received orders to San Diego, CA where we moved about 3 years ago. We’ve been married over a year and are enjoying our new home and married life. I enjoy outside activities with my husband, cheering on my favorite football team (Go pack go!), crafting activities, and hanging with my two fur babies, Salem and Cali.
I am so excited to be teaching your child this year! Please feel free to email me with any questions, comments, or concerns regarding your child's academic and social interactions at school through emails or messages. If you would like to meet with me, please contact me and I would be happy to set an appointment to meet with you. Thank you and I look forward to an amazing school year!
